Our foundation started our first own Christmas mission this year, which proved to be a big success. “A heart´s desire” aimed to brighten the holiday season for these children, providing personalized gifts chosen by their incarcerated parents. This mission successfully delivered 273 presents to several prisons in Belgium, as well as in Hamburg, Germany. As little as 15 € enabled a child to receive a teddy bear, a remote-controlled car, a coloring book, a make-up box and many other gifts. Connecting Hearts expresses gratitude for the support and engagement received hopes to make more children smile in next year 2024, with further projects just like this one.
