This year, the ConnectingHearts Foundation took part for the first time in the Blankenese New Year Reception 2026. The traditional reception, organized by the magazine Hamburger Klönschnack, brings together guests from politics, business, culture and civic life and provides a welcoming setting for conversation and new connections at the beginning of the year.
For our foundation, the event was a valuable opportunity to present Connecting Hearts and its mission. In particular, we aimed to highlight our funding activities and their impact and to engage with key audiences and potential partners.
At the same time, we aim to bring greater public attention to the situation of children of incarcerated parents. Events like these help raise awareness of this issue and allow us to connect with new supporters and donors.
