CONNECTING HEARTS Foundation for Children of Prisoners has handed over a contribution in person to The Nest Children’s Home in Limuru, Kenya. The support will go towards the daily care of children whose mothers are in prison, as well as children who need protection, stability and a safe place to grow up.
The cheque was presented in Nairobi during a visit to The Nest and its team. The Nest has worked for many years with children and families affected by imprisonment, separation and difficult life circumstances. At its Children’s Home in Limuru, around 100 children currently find a home, from newborns to teenagers. They receive shelter, food, education and care. The Nest also enables regular visits to their mothers in prison, helping to preserve an important family bond.
The contribution from CONNECTING HEARTS supports the everyday foundations of this work, from a safe and clean environment to reliable care in daily life.
